Robert P. Butts, Esq.

Prior to pursuing a career as an attorney, Mr. Butts was a general contractor, and is a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida.  His construction experience includes residential, commercial and multi-family.  His educational background includes a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Webber College in 1992, and a juris doctor from the University of Florida College of Law in 1996.  Mr. Butts is Board Certified in construction law.  The focus of his practice is primarily on construction law, including defending and prosecuting lien foreclosure actions, bond claims, drafting and reviewing contracts, and all types of matters pertaining to resolving and preventing construction disputes.  In addition to handling construction-related issues, his educational and business background enables him to offer clients insight and understanding of their business affairs and matters pertaining to business law, including corporations and other business entities.
