Mr. Hatfield received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida.  Prior to pursuing his legal career, Mr. Hatfield was employed with the University of Florida Division of Human Resources and was the Human Resources Administrator for the Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Florida.  Mr. Hatfield’s practice focuses on civil litigation and trial law.  He pursues cases on behalf of clients in areas of real estate disputes, sinkhole litigation, building construction, contractor licensing, land use and zoning disputes, personal injury and property damages.  While in law school, Mr. Hatfield was a member of the University of Florida Trial Team and earned various awards and honors including the title of Trial Team Best Advocate and a Book Award in Trial Practice.  Mr. Hatfield handles cases in all counties of Florida.  Mr. Hatfield is a member of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association as well as the James C. Adkins American Inn of Court. In addition to his legal career, Mr. Hatfield remains active with the University of Florida’s Trial Team by helping judge the Trial Team’s annual tryouts for new members as well as serving on the Board of Trustees for the WUFT Public Television Station in Gainesville.
